Realizing your own potential to cope with stressors, managing the everydayness of life and being in an emotionally healthy place is a sign of optimal mental well-being. I’m here to collaborate with you and help you to improve life quality and achieve mental well-being. Therapy with me is strengths-based, nonjudgmental and evidence-based. I am authentic and engaged. I work with clients from a culturally responsive, social justice lens to address the concerns most important to you. I believe that you will always be the expert on you and my job is to help you find what you need in this season of life, within you. Our work may include depression, interpersonal conflict, work/life balance, identity, career conflicts, trauma, race-related stress/racial trauma to name a few. Therapy is work, but we will do the work together.
You can sign up through the book now link. Please be mindful of cancelling your consultation if you are no longer able to make it. Cancelling your consultation at least 24 hours before your scheduled consultation, gives me a chance to contact the people who may have wanted a free consultation this week but couldn’t get in.
I currently only offer individual therapy. The fee is $150 for the initial session and $125 per a session for all sessions after. I do not accept insurance. In my practice, therapy is dictated by the client and the clinician, not by the insurance company. That means we get to bypass health insurance restrictions and practice individualized services that meet your specific needs. Adjusted rates are also available for undergraduate and graduate students. I accept credit/debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover), FSA (Flex Savings Account) and HSA (Health Savings Account) accounts . Payment is due at the time of each session and your card will be kept on file for easy payment acceptance.
My practice is fully online and all sessions are provided via telehealth. I use a HIPAA-compliant video counseling platform that only requires you to have a cell phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and high-speed internet. It’s that simple! Psychologists are only permitted by their state board to do therapy in the state they are licensed in, as long as you live in the state of Texas, we can have a telehealth session together! I offer weeknight and Saturday appointments to accommodate all schedules.
If your insurance plan has out-of-network benefits, you can see any licensed therapist you'd like. Your insurance plan will reimburse you a percentage (around 60-90%), after you meet your deductible. I can give you a form called a superbill to submit to your health insurance company. You can call your insurance company and submit the superbill yourself. Please contact your insurance company to verify your benefits before scheduling.
If you are unable to attend your session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged a $50 no show fee which is non-refundable. You may cancel via the client portal link you received in your initial appointment confirmation email; you may also call or email firstname.lastname@example.org to cancel. Card information is required at the time of scheduling a therapy session to cover the no show cancellation fee.
